Relaxing and nurturing environment. I felt supported by the store manager and encouraged to pursue career goals.
Cons
Work hours I received at the time wasn't ideal for me financially at the time. Store owner was slightly aloof—would come and go, not acknowledge presence.
-Most clients you come across are respectful and tip generously.
-Easy spa software to follow your schedule and deliver booked services.
-Spa Manager is mostly attentive and helpful to your concerns.
Cons
-Some rude clients. There are always a few clients that like to complain and make working there for everyone hell. I clicked with the some of the front desk that say theyre the emotional side to our physical side of the business.
-Some rude coworkers.
-Management is too sympathetic to rude clients. They take clients complaints verbatim and dont hear the massage therapists side of the story.
-Last minute spa bookings. There should be push notifications when appointments are made less than 2 hours before a booking to help therapist stay on top of their schedule.
-Pay could always be better. Start off at $15/hr trying to climb the ladder.
