Pros
People believe in the work they do.
You get to be a part of something bigger than yourself.
Great starting pay in comparison to similar positions with other local nonprofits.
They really emphasize work/life balance and are aware of burnout.
The executive director is amazing and has really established a great culture.
Cons
Competitive starting salary but few opportunities for promotion/advancement. They take care of you and you are encouraged to make lateral career moves if something opens up internally that you are interested in, but expect to be content with what you do long-term because there are few supervisory positions. This isn't really something that they can fix or change, it's just the nature of what The Link does.
