Pros
You literally don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to, so it’s great for people like me. But my coworkers here are kind and creative people, they are the only good vibes happening here.
Cons
1. The job description doesn’t tell you exactly what you will be doing, so you thought you would be a photographer, but instead you are just a person who dresses mannequin and clicks button. 2. Horrible working environment. The warehouse is dusty and smelly. No windows. Very much like a modern sweatshop. 3. The low pay. For the amount of work they are asking, the pay just doesn’t adjust it. They treat you like a robot and want to pay you like a robot. 4. No advancement. They called it internal promotion but I’m not seeing any professional career building on this, basically you just get to shoot shoes instead of clothes, what an improvement. 5. It’s crazy how physical demanding it is. They will set daily goals for you and constantly remind you how far along on your process. Everyone has some kind of pains on their body, but they expect you to just ignore it and keep working, and they will track down your break times, which is ridiculously short. 6. Managers are trying to act like they care but they actually don’t. They just want to you get things done. I feel bad for them because that’s probably how they are treated by their upper management. Overall, this place is bad for your health but even worse, it kills your soul as a creative person. If you are in for the paychecks, do what you gotta do. If you want to do anything that has to do with your creativity and skills, don’t come here.
