      Pros

      Working with a diverse multi-cultural community. The life experiences were many and on-going.

      Cons

      Political infra-structure, I was told if I could stand the cuts I could make a career here, after my hiring. After 16+ years served I made less than a new hire. Of my many jobs served I was never compensated, rather "in-kind or dismissal" were offered. If a decision was made up-stairs that was wrong I still paid for it. Even a Union Rep who proved me correct, could not disprove their final decisions.

      Pros

      The Unity Council had a culture that was very supportive of everyone, and it felt like you were working with friends and family. Management made themselves available to mentor and check on your progress Overall, everyone was kind, friendly, and caring. I can honestly say this job was the best place I have worked in all of my career.

      Cons

      The only con I can think of was that the pay was too low.
