Fun exciting start-up mentality. A lot of very smart talented people. Very good product with a lot of potential (if managed right)

Very disjointed executive layer to middle management, expectations are truly ridiculous and communication is very poor. I'd get a email from an executive at 8pm on a weekend and would get reprimanded for not responding that evening. They had a Dare/Care motto, but one minute you are awesome "Great job, way to 'Dare'" then the next thing you know you're fired. I put in a ton of overtime, working hard with awesome people only to be kicked to the curb for basically no reason. No bad performance reviews, no time to respond, no rationale given. Very "knee jerk" reactions to most everything. Shortly after I was fired, they let a bunch of other very talented folks go too. In fact I was the 4th (maybe 5th) person for this position within the past 4 years! That is telling in my opinion.
