Pros
There are only a few people in the company that actually make things happen, and those people are great resources to learn from and expand.
Cons
- These are just observations and opinions from me and a few other previous coworkers - This is a company in which most in it will push things off on to the next person until the Owner decides to stroll back in off of one of his constant mystery vacations. The problem starts from the top at the VP level where any change is quickly squashed even if it benefits the company, VP-level management tends to try and keep control even at the cost of company growth. Tips if you decide to work here; do not suggest anything new, work your hours and don't care too much about anything you've invested time into. The company culture is all about covering your own butt first, making good with the Owner, and that's all that matters. The owner will occasionally drop in, see that things are a mess, and hear from the his VP leadership. At that point he will generally call for change at people who have been asking for change the entire time, kick moral down to the ground, and push for things to start moving again. Once things slowly start moving he will take another step out from the company, and the cycle will continue.
