Pros
The current employees are the strong suit of the business. The office space is modern with an artsy edge. The location close to the bike trail and two local southside restaurants is very convenient. Plentiful free parking is also a pro. Salaries are on par or slightly below the Pittsburgh area average.
Cons
This company has gone through a major restructuring in the past 10 years. Current leadership wax the business acumen to continue this as a successful venture. Full-time employees run the risk of being laid off due to the inability to backlog A substantial workload. They tend to use temp employees when they get busy. During my tenure not only did they have massive layoffs they asked the existing employees to take a substantial pay cut. The smaller size of the current company has allowed them to stay afloat but there is a constant uneasy feeling.
