Pros

-Friendly lower level staff -Free meals once a week and in-house massages -Okay benefits not the best -Pay can be good depending how you negotiate

Cons

CEO and execs create a toxic work culture for every lower level employee. There is a sense of urgency for every single thing at this company. We still don't know the reasoning behind this concept. There is no planning or production everything is emotional and chaotic. Employees have to report into their mangers hourly. Reporting what work they have done within the hour. Micromanaging and no trust is huge issue at thrive. High turnover, most lower level employees can only work for about 2-4 months before they are burnt out and are forced to quit. thrive considers themselves a technology company yet there is no technology that they are developing. It's a media company, Internally it is complete chaos. There isn't a proper HR department to help with the many issues. HR is extremely unqualified to deal with bully/toxic executives. No diversity at this company. It shows in the content as well. If we really want to stop burnout culture it should be for everyone not just white people.

Pros

Working at Thrive Global has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’ve had the opportunity to work cross-functionally with smart, passionate teams who care deeply about both business performance and human well-being. There’s a strong focus on innovation, especially around using AI to democratize access to behavior change and expert-level coaching, which makes the work feel cutting-edge and meaningful. Thrive strikes a rare balance: we move fast and iterate constantly, but we also respect boundaries, recovery, and taking time to reset. That makes this a sustainable place to do ambitious work — a rarity in the startup and health tech worlds.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, priorities shift quickly. This environment is best suited for self-starters who are energized by building things from the ground up and don’t need rigid structure to thrive.

Pros

Benefits are great, pay is above average

Cons

Absolute worst company I have every worked for. Nepotism is high, environment follows high-school politics. Instead of focusing on the product (which changes every 6 months) the focus is on the CEO and her needs as an individual. Micro-management to the Nth degree, they employ smart people and then wear them down with pettiness. Promotions are arbitrary and dependent on if your liked, not how well you perform.
