Pros
If you're ambitious there's room for upward mobility. 401k, health benefits etc...on par with industry. While there, 17 yrs, the health benefits changed 3 times.
Cons
Ambition alone doesn't mean you're qualified. Work life balance of a mariner is all work. Few in upper management have any vessel operations experience which says a lot for a boat company. Look at insidertrading and the corporate officers only sell the shares they get as compensation....very little buying.
