Is bureaucratic because it’s a large org.

If you have a good manager, who is willing to stick up for you, you might actually like working here.

If you have a poor manager, get out while you can. I, unfortunately, tried to stick it out, hoping things would get better. I ended up bullied to the point of having panic attacks on the way to work. Never have I had someone go out of their way to be so unkind to me. When one inexperienced manager manages to drive away 80% of the staff in just a year, you would think that the upper management would take notice. But they don't care about you. This used to be such a nice library. Now I refuse to even step foot here again. We used to have a few support groups that would meet monthly. It was nice to have a few safe places to visit. But that got shut down, too.
