Pros
The people (not the management, other than two) are absolutely fantastic. They somehow manage to attract very likable and friendly people who work hard (really hard). You'll hear that from anyone.
You also get fresh fruit every day.
Everyone needs to experience a bad manager at least once to appreciate a good company/workplace. This is it for many people.
Cons
Management only cares about squeezing everything they can from you. Even the so-called 'benefits' like events and the intitatives like fresh fruit only serve to make the company seem progressive and like a trendy tech startup.
Employee turnover is sky high. Nearly 45% in one year. They can't keep people. They bait and switch employees with promises of a great culture, work-life-balance and their "#1" status in the market, but every last one of those things is a flimsy lie.
Work hours are absurd; 8:30am-6:00pm is standard in the contract and a 30-40 min is verbalised on employees' first day. You will be paid for 40 hours a week if you're salaried.
Instead of paying better wages, they give employees 4 extra days off per year and fresh fruit and act like it's the Second Coming. Thanks...?
Massive ego and anxiety problems in management cause helicoptering and not letting employees do their best work.
Ethical questions in sales techniques and unpaid workers.
Very cheap and paranoid management that is obsessed with micro-managing but insisting they don't want to micromanage.
