Pros

walking distance to my house

Cons

- was promised the max i would work a week was 55 hours, which i agreed to, but was forced to work 70+ hour weeks with no extra pay. When you work it out I was earning way way below minimum wage. Tom de keyser the head chef has some serious personality issues. Abusive to all waiters/waitresses and all he does is decorate plates. Very weird environment. Under payed, over worked. Staff and managers dont care. I was working there in the midst of covid and when I got ill they made me come in anyway and serve customers with a sore throat, cough and blocked note. Bizzare! Couldn't get out of there quick enough. I have worked in non michelin pubs and resterauants for over 8 years and I thought coming here would be a step up in my career in hospitality, but honestly it put me off completely and now I have a career in a completley different field and I couldnt be happier! If you are thinking of working for a Tom Kerridge company I suggest you look else where!

Pros

Good food and good British menu.
