Pros

The strategically located office in Porto and the hybrid presence policy initially promise a favorable environment. Collaboration among colleagues is visible, while the potential of the company's product sparks interest.

Cons

The company is characterized by suffocating micromanagement. The toxic culture is fueled by the CEO, who is a narcissistic and incompetent person fostering unfair competition among staff. The CEO talks badly about workers, trying to put them against each other. Constructive feedback is replaced by public humiliation, corroding the self-esteem of employees. Previous experience of employees is disregarded despite being a criterion for hiring. The culture of fear, instigated by the CEO, creates a tense and demotivating work environment. The CEO continuously approves coercive situations, ignoring the alarming turnover of employees and being a coercive person herself. The main challenge after leaving the company is rebuilding self-confidence, as it is effectively detrimental to mental health.

Pros

The team is absolutely 5 stars. The environment between colleagues is fantastic—collaborative, supportive, and genuinely helpful. If you’re looking for great coworkers who work well together, this is the place.

Cons

Unfortunately, the biggest problem here is the CEO. The leadership style is toxic, manipulative, and heavily biased toward those who agree with her opinions. There’s no room for dissenting voices, and she seems to only respect those who mirror her own intelligence and way of thinking. Soft skills, empathy, and humanity are nonexistent in her leadership style. The company is plagued by excessive micromanagement, which creates an environment of fear and doubt. Instead of empowering people to do their jobs, the feedback is often destructive, leading to burnout cases that are too frequent to count. The median tenure is a reflection of this. There's a complete lack of transparency and an inability to scale the company because leadership is overly focused on irrelevant details instead of the bigger picture.
