company is a startup, so problems that typically come w/ startups exist.

If you are nostalgic for the days of being in high school, the culture here will be right up your alley. Very little oversight.

I didn't realize how toxic the culture here was until I landed my next position. So much is expected of you and the moment they have no use for you anymore, you're gone. I went through one of the hardest moments of my life at this workplace and received zero support. Their angel investor had to pump money in twice to keep this place afloat because it makes zero money and C-suite have no idea what they're doing. I was passed over for a bonus and at the same time the leadership was buying a 3000$+ Scorpion Chair which nobody wanted to use due to it being uncomfortable. I would include more but I'd rather stay anonymous, they have about 15 employees and have fired/laid-off somewhere around 80 so it'll be difficult to tell who it is otherwise.
