Pros

1. Every team member brings in a new set of skills and expertise so there's a lot to learn from those that work alongside you. 2. One of the advantages of being a small company is that not everything takes weeks of approvals/reviews before being implemented, making it easier to get things going quickly. 3. Cooperative team members that not only work alongside you to get things going but share their perspective to better things, showing an overall care for the company. 4. There's a lot to learn everyday, because your thought process really matters at Topflight Apps. 5. Everyone in the team genuinely cares about the best interest of the company which shows in the way projects are handled and that is motivating and encouraging.

Cons

Given the different timezones, overlapping with other team members may sometimes require additional effort. But because everyone's usually helpful and willing to get the job done, not something I personally consider a Con.

Pros

Topflight has a unique combination of mobile app + classic app development and niche in healthcare among other things. High quality work and results and easy to work with other highly competent team members. Joe provides the right kind of leadership keeping business flowing in, keeping blocks out of the way and looking to talent to deliver without micro-management.

Cons

Highly custom development shop so as can be expected capacity management can be tricky - they do a good job though.

Pros

- The ability to lead and take ownership on projects based on your strengths (major plus) - Networking opportunities are solid - project managers generally interact with senior leadership (VP, CTO, CEO) of other startups in terms of coordinating tasks - Can learn the latest technologies and frameworks in the industry - Work is remote and can set your schedule (provided that things get done in a timely manner) - Proactive upper management that ensures that there is open communication in terms of project barriers, hourly commitments, and feedback to make the company better - Consistent payments (no delays) - Company is solid to work for if you have a flexible mindset, have a willingness to learn, and be self-directed (i.e. there is less of taking in work-directions and checking boxes - the mindset is more toward independent thinking and coming up with creative ways to solve problems) - Communication channels are prompt and effective (i.e. you can reach out to another colleague / upper management through remote platforms such as Slack and problems can be dealt with effectively within a couple hours)

Cons

- Newer company - so it does not have any of the established benefits - May require that you are flexible with your hours given that other team members work in different time zones (not a major barrier - work schedule can be largely self-contained as long as time is managed effectively)
