Pros
- Fast-paced environment. It is not a place for people who like to have downtime during their work day. Employees are required to wear many hats, which can be very exciting if you're used to being a small fish in a big pond (i.e. working for a massive company). I came from a very large corporation and got very bored doing the same tasks day in and day out. TPP is a multi-tasker's dream! - Management truly appreciates the gifts and talents team members bring to the table and gives you extra responsibilities tailored to your interests. - The company is truly a family atmosphere. The CEO has made the office a very casual and friendly place to work. When I left the company, it was to go back to school full-time to pursue my master's degree in the public sector. I had the full support of TPP and the CEO and other members of the team checked in on me often. I even came back to work during my breaks and was welcomed back with open arms. - One of the BEST things about TPP is the customers. TPP truly has the best customers ever and answering phones never seemed like a chore. You are empowered to do the right thing for the client and that power is engrained into the culture at TPP. - The CEO is also very open to trying new things if they are in the best interest of the client base. He realizes that Client Care, in particular, are the closest connection the company has to customers so he really trusts his employees if something needs to change to benefit the company and its stakeholders. I stayed with TPP for 3 years straight and loved it. I grew so much as a person and a professional and would truly not be as successful as I am now without my experience there!
Cons
Some may find the fast-paced atmosphere a turn-off. Like I said before, if you are not a multi-tasker, TPP may not be the best place for you. TPP is also not a place for "lone wolves". It is a very social and collaborative place. You must be open to change and suggestions. I personally wouldn't see these things as "cons" per se, but could see how others might not see them as pros.
