Pros

A few of my colleagues were an absolute joy to work with. They were highly skilled and dedicated, consistently delivering great results. However, these individuals were sadly undervalued and under appreciated despite their hard work and talent.

Cons

Senior management lacks clear direction, especially when it comes to product launches and long-term strategy. The CMO's approach is more about throwing things at the wall to see what sticks, which results in little-to-no payoff and ultimately leads to frequent layoffs due to poor decision-making. There is no clear incentive to aim higher. Employees are promised pay raises and title changes regularly, but these promises often lead to disappointment, creating a culture of disillusionment. The company consistently fails to appreciate the effort and contributions of its staff, which leads to low morale and disengagement. The CMO has a tendency to step on everyone’s toes and shows little trust in his team’s expertise, which undermines the overall success of the projects. A lack of presence and engagement in meetings from senior leadership, especially the CMO (now CEO) was concerning. Texting on his phone during meetings resulted in important points being missed or repeated multiple times due to a lack of attention. A certain member of senior management would often make comments that were highly offensive and unprofessional, making the entire team feel on edge and uncomfortable. CEO tends to push his own ideas onto the company, showing little interest in exploring or supporting ideas from others. When it is the CEO’s idea, it’s treated as a “great idea” with no room for constructive feedback or collaboration. Limited room for growth and development unless you're one of senior management's favorites. Employees who challenge decisions are often overlooked for promotions or advancement opportunities.

Pros

I love working at TouchNote! All of my coworkers are great people, we get along really well and have fun offsite events all the time. It is also a place where you're challenged to do your best work and to contribute in many different ways. There are always new projects/challenges to tackle and you are given the tools to succeed by management, who is always willing to help however they can. The work-life balance is great as well, with a lot of freedom to get work done outside the office if necessary, and a great vacation policy. As long as you get your work done you are given a ton of freedom!

Cons

None that I can think of right now
