Something to avoid in the future - Account Manager Tout Events Employee Review

Got this job out of college, gave me the ability to make solid income. Learned a lot about sales and techniques that I will carry with me throughout my career. There was the option to travel to other offices and a large push on networking. I can now talk to people I don't know and engage in full conversations. Great confidence boost in the real world.

I guess the hours could be one, but I personally liked them

This company is part of Credico. Give them a google. Check out "The Slave Circle," as well. It is a documentary about companies like this. this particularly company is linked to RBI Boston, RBI America, Boston Emporium, and The Boston Executives. They are constantly hiring and are willing to hire just about anyone, since the know most won't last. The work consists of selling different services in big box stores. Drive yourself their. Work about 12 hours a day. Don't get an hourly wage. This is a purely exploitative company, hence why they move around and change names. Think about that. Why would a "marketing firm," want to change their name every few months? It literally forces them to start building a brand entirely from scratch. You'll get a weird feeling from this place right from the get go. Follow your gut. Unless you want to be giving up all your free time to act like an idiot at "atmosphere," and walk around selling over priced services nobody wants using a script, do not work at this place.
