Pros

This position is for the manager that likes or lives the country lifestyle. This is the management position for you. The training available is first rate and ongoing. Company growth is a long term possibility for strong leaders. The ability to move around the country is a big plus. The monthly and yearly bonus plan is fair and rewarding.

Cons

Low Store Manager pay structure compared to other retailers. District and Regional managers have become micro-managers. The job has become at task driven position. The amount of daily tasks has gotten ridiculous. The tasks interfere with developing relationships with your customers. Management has lost the importance of developing relationships with the customer. Payroll percent to sales has been lowered to an amount that doesn't allow for proper store coverage. Store managers are required to work a minimum of 52 hours per week. Because of workload we work more!

Pros

Great benefits, pay is manageable. The store bonuses are incredible. If you are a store manager anything lower it’s not any significance to a paycheck.

Cons

Long hours there is no work life balance. Depending on who your district manager is a lot of them are very unethical. When you do not follow what they say they will find a reason to fire you. The company itself was great, but it’s the people they hire.
