Pros

If you have had experience in a larger staffing firm, TSG will be a breath of fresh air. They not only invest in their people, but they are always seeking out the best technology and business operations to support the recruiting/biz dev teams. You will also have the chance to give your input and have it valued and considered seriously by management. It's more of a "how do we make this better" mindset than "this is how it's done." Can say that you will learn more about the strategy behind recruiting than you will anywhere else. Supportive team and management all the way around.

Cons

None that I can think of

Pros

TSG contracted me to another company, for the most part they leave you alone and let you do your job. HR is quick to address issues.

Cons

When I was in initial conversations with TSG for a contract role, I was told full 401(k) benefits, plenty of sick leave, immediate healthcare benefits, and competitive salary. Here's what happened: - 401(k) doesn't kick in until a full year of employment - Healthcare doesn't kick in for first 30-60 days of employment pending on start date - No overtime allowed, I was making less than previous job - Takes months to earn ANY paid days off, they do not pay earned ones out once you leave. After I terminated my contract I received a call from a Senior Manager at TSG whom I never spoken to before. He proceeded to berate me that I was burning bridges and in his words "screwed us over". Also, the warned me "what goes around comes around". I found this extremely unprofessional and uncalled for. For the almost year I was employed the contract company had been firing contract employees with impunity, I always knew any day could be my last.
