Promoting innovation through transparency and collaboration will be the public mantra, always derived from a few cherry picked buzzwords read in various blogs, but what will actually occur is the divide and conquer strategy where engineers currently in his favor will be pitted against his current lightning rods with the goal of undermining them. If that's not enough to get them to quit rumors about those people's secret agenda will be spread until the environment is too unpleasant to remain. If those he didn't like were actually onto a good idea you should fully expect that it will become the new technical vision within a few weeks of getting rid of those people, regardless of having spent a lot of time prior denouncing those very ideas solely because they were proposed by people he didn't like. The mess created in that wake will be blamed on the very people he prevented from doing anything about it in the first place. Lather, rinse, and repeat, this latest round of turnover isn't the first time this has happened and it won't be the last.
