They actually mean it when they say Family Company, great flexibility, amazing teamwork and comradery, decent pay for the majority of roles, decent benefits (very good health plan).

Sometimes, being a family company, nepotism can get in the way of real progress. There can sometimes be so many hoops to jump through to push change initiatives through that employees become frustrated. The company also may need to reevaluate cost sharing for medical plans since they keep going up every year.

Unique engineering experience/ exposure to normally rare industrial experience when it comes to instrumentation

Overall poor management, constantly changing organizational structure, lack of understanding employee value/ contribution, little to no actual engineering (AEs are essentially sales reps sitting at desks emailing quotes)
