Very Strong Mission, Broken Culture - Id Prefer Not to Say Trojan Technologies Employee Review

Pros

A good place to get your feet wet early in your career and the company itself does meaningful work. If you can find a remote role and don’t mind constant pressure you may still have a decent experience depending on your team.

Cons

I only came to read the reviews after hearing people talk about them, and unfortunately they’re right. I used to be genuinely proud to work here. There was a time where people cared about each other, leadership was approachable, and employees felt valued beyond what they could produce and it wasn’t that long ago. That culture is long gone. Over the last year or two, I’ve watched this company lose many good people because the message has become very clear: everyone is replaceable. Leadership no longer seems to care about employees as people only what makes leadership look good on paper. Unfortunately it is also true that leaders who treat people poorly or create toxic environments seem to continue to move up. It’s sad to watch a company that once felt special turn into a place driven by optics, politics, and fear as someone else here said. I never thought I would say this, but I would not recommend working here anymore.

Pros

-They have great befits and are extremely flexible. Great co-workers and people with lots of experience in the field. -Decent pay and benefits.

Cons

-Stepping stone for lots upper management, they will not last more than a 3 year average and they move on after they come and leave a mess for everyone else to clean up. Have seen quite a few come and go and they all come in with aggressive plans and move on to bigger positions with sister companies and leave us in limbo with a bigger mess in our hands. -Department Managers get hired with no previous management experience and have no idea what they are doing and DO NOT lead by example and just delegate their work to others and take credit for it. -No growth, you can work here and expect to be in the same position for years without any advancement opportunities. -Too many crazy ideas implemented with no real planning and they all seem to fail. -People with 20 + years of knowledge are leaving and they don't do anything to keep them or replace them with enough time for them to train someone new. -No real HR department in place.
