Pros
You can work from home- not because they are flexible, because no one really cares about work The company has been acquired by Battery. Hopefully they will reign in the existing regime There are some really dedicated new graduates, co-ops, new immigrants working the lower depths of the organization. Unfortunately, their work is not appreciated. I hope they move on
Cons
This is the pattern the company operates in: Senior leadership only works with their clique to push forward what they fancy as innovation - the innovations are not sustainable because they lose interest once the cracks start showing - Clients become unhappy -They hire/reallocate people to support/ fend off angry clients- Clients get fed up and churn - The people hired to support those clients get laid off I have seen this play out multiple time in my 2 years with the company. This is the reason the company has been unprofitable for 20 years. Leadership tends to interact with people based on who they want to hang out with and generally do not care about the work. Hard working people deliberately got steered towards dead-end work with no intention of letting them grow or supporting them, while the directors and VPs hired their friends and yoga teachers in key positions. HR is basically a party planning committee with no skill or desire to address any issues. They are there to just hang out with each other and serve the men in leadership positions.
