Very, very true. No search firm can afford to keep a recruiter if they can't make one placement in a six month period. We gave this "experienced recruiter" a chance to start a division in their field of expertise, but after six months with no placements we had to pull the plug. The Labor Board determines whether an ex employee is eligible for unemployment not us. If you think you are entitled to a salary just for showing up, please don't apply to our firm.
