Pros

When I first joined years back it was a good company to work for with good team managers.

Cons

2023. - lack of transparency & honesty - lots of bad changes in upper management/board level - one size fits all approach - loads of people working dead end jobs - being asked to do more with less - board level have clear favourites & it shows - being asked to start earlier & finish later despite working very long hours - constant sharing of stats (not in a encouraging or friendly competitive way) - in the past when you progressed you would be required onsite less and less as an incentive (now everyone is required onsite 3 days a week regardless - with a rare few doing 2 days) - Claim to be people first but proved on countless occasions with countless people to be anything but…

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, your candidness is greatly appreciated. We’re deeply saddened to hear about your experience, and we apologise for any poor communication and management you’ve encountered during your time at Trust in SODA. We believe a strong foundation of transparency and honesty is crucial for any business, hence why we share certain stats at the end-of-month roundup. We are a purpose-driven business, and since we operate in a sales environment, we aim to keep the performance bar high to achieve our goals – often, this demands the sharing of progress. As part of our dedication to meritocratic growth, favouritism is not tolerated. Our Performance Improvement Plans, Wellness Action Plans, Employee-led Engagement Groups, Future Leaders Program, and Flexi-Time are designed to help us avoid the one-size-fits-all approach and create an inclusive, supportive workplace that adheres to the needs of the individual. Whilst adjusting to a correcting market has been challenging, the changes we’ve made align with our 5-year strategy, and they’ve been crucial in maintaining the value we provide to all our stakeholders. Our people power Trust in SODA, and we’re always looking for new ways to invest in them and support them on their journey of professional growth and development. We understand that high-quality leadership plays a vital part in this, and we’re sorry that you’ve not experienced the people-first approach. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts, we have passed them on to leadership.

Pros

Working for Soda has been a dream! Our corporate social responsibility and DE&I initiatives are unlike any other in the industry. I've been given clear outlines for career progression and I truly feel like the entire team is rooting for everyone's success. I'm so excited for our massive growth journey in the Los Angeles office and to continue working with the most exciting tech companies on the West Coast.

Cons

The LA office is small, but this isn't really a con since it's such a tight-knit, personal team.
