Pros

Some recent reviews are clearly written by people who left on bad terms and are trying to damage the company’s reputation with exaggerated or outright false claims. I’ve worked here long enough to say confidently and catagortically: the picture they’re painting simply isn’t true! Addressing the current employee who has taken the time to attempt to highlight a list of their opinions and situations of others which are not correct, you are clearly extremely disgruntled. First advise to you is Google the definition because you cannot say you are not. Correcting the points made in recent reviews with the facts are as follows: No one is being micromanaged or “trapped.” People have freedom to do their jobs with plenty of support. If you don't feel this is the case perhaps you are not doing a good job and need more support which is why you feel you are being micromanaged. Pay is fair and transparent. There will actually be a profit share this year and hopefully those who are clearly unhappy and still work here will leave soon, meaning there will be more to share for those who deserve it! Progression is based on contribution, ability, drive etc, there is certainly no racism, sexism or favouritism! There is sick and bereavement pay, but forgive me you may be a person who requires many more days off "sick" a year than what is covered. Good luck in finding a company that will cover all days you wish! Holiday allowance is standard practise here starting at 22 days (excluding bank holidays) and increases with length of service like many other companies. There would always be a reason why you cannot book holiday presumably because too many other colleagues are off already. Notices periods are actually up to 6 months based on the role and length of service. This is not to force people to stay but to allow for a transition to the person replacing you. Again very much a standard practise for a company to have in place to ensure they can continue operating. Working from home is a benefit and often will only happen when you are fully trained and have the ability to work alone (without support) also non contractual. We’re an employee-owned company, and that matters. It means long-term thinking, reinvesting in the people who are here for the right reasons, and giving us all a say in how things are run, NOT the power to do so which is probably lack of education to those who think an EOT will not need experienced management to still run and exist! Trashing the entire company with baseless claims isn’t fair to those of us who are proud to work here. If you’re reading all the reviews, take them with context. Some are venting. Others, like this one, reflect the actual experience. Afterall we all need to be professional grownups and understand people go out of their way when they are unhappy to leave bad reviews hence the need for a full picture.

Pros

There is free parking and coffee

Cons

This is the worst company I've ever worked at with regard to the way it treats its' employees. Only had 2 pay rises in over 7 years. When it became an EOT they only gave profit sharing and they weren't actually making much profit. Absolutely no flexibility with regards to working arrangements. Any appointments had to be taken in own time, or unpaid leave, or holiday. staff moral is extremely low. Managers promoted based on technical ability not managerial skills and for the most part were pretty appalling in the way they dealt with staff. Basically told to toe-the-company line or face disciplinary even down to the level of voicing any dissatisfaction as to how things were run. Extremely bad communication internally. Changes made to the way processes worked but impacted staff not made aware of changes until they tried to do their jobs. Do not believe the positive reviews on here mostly written by the senior managers in an effort to boost the company ratings. The negative reviews are much closer to the truth. I cannot in any way recommend this as a company to work for and if you do get offered a job keep looking for alternatives. HR Dept was just a mouth peace for the Directors and didn't uphold any staff issues.

Pros

I’ve had the opportunity to work with a genuinely talented, supportive, and knowledgeable team. People are approachable, willing to help each other, and open to sharing what they know, which creates a collaborative working environment. There are good opportunities for development here, particularly for those who are proactive, take initiative, and want to grow their skills. My own experience working here has been positive and constructive. I feel supported by my colleagues and have enjoyed being part of a team that takes pride in the work it does. Day to day collaboration and communication have been strong, and I’ve found the culture to be far more cooperative than adversarial. I’m aware that some reviews online present a very different picture, but I can only speak honestly about my own time here. From my experience, I have never been asked or incentivised to leave a positive review, and I’m sharing this feedback because it reflects how I genuinely feel about working here. I think it’s important that people considering a role are able to see a range of perspectives, and this review represents mine. Overall, I enjoy my work, value the people I work with, and am glad to be part of the team.

Cons

I’ve not come across any cons in my time at this company.
