Pros
Hard things are hard. Building technology and teams that would elevate humanity take a lot of smart people, hard work and ownership mentality. I've enjoyed this a lot about working with Trustwork. We've been able to attract and work with some incredible people. There is a lot of trust and autonomy in stewarding our own time and growth. This level of ownership is not going to be a good fit for everyone, especially if you require structure, predictability, and consistency. The leadership and the team are humble to recognize when they made a mistake and have to course correct. There is a strong culture of reflection that drives improvements frequently. Those who have been part of high performing teams in the past have enjoyed this a lot.
Cons
Trustwork quickly grew to be many locations and keeping communication synced up has been a challenge. While different mechanisms have been tried with limited success, there is more growth opportunity here.
