Pros

Can’t think of any. For experienced - If you are in dire need of a job change or if you recently lost your job - Twimbit can be an option. For freshers - Initially will seem fun and interesting but with time, you will realize you are having a very mediocre learning curve, as a result, developed lower competency that your peers. Majorly because: You will not have any role models to look up to.

Cons

This debriefing is intended to give a robust understanding of the company to help a potential job applicant. (*Long Post ahead*) Experience with CEO/Founder Manoj- This guy has worked for 21+years with Frost, the position he held at the firm at the time of leaving was MD - APAC. Now, this guy has written a very interesting statement about himself on his public Linkedinn a/c. - "These days I am studying about leadership and what does it take to be effective as a leader." - This statement exhibits 3 points, worth pondering upon: a) He himself believes that he is not a proven leader b) After 21+ years he still has not found out what it takes to be an effective leader c) It raises a very important question - How did he work at Frost for 21 years without being an effective leader. 1) Working experience - He endeavors to be on top of everything. It’s a part of his strategy to exert and exercise control over employees and the company. Makes illogical demands to employees to follow his advice and approach on client projects - Most times it falls flat on the ground. Does not cater to work regarding requests - You may want to request for more resources to successfully complete a project, such requests will never be granted. Most importantly does not trust his counterpart - You will never be involved in any discussion around planning. Your only responsibility will be on the execution front. Client communications are channelized by freshers, and seniors will work to make ends meet. Initially it can be enticing for a fresher, but in some time you will realize that you have played the part of a pawn from his chess book. Here "Team work", "Effective Collaboration" are a myth. The quality of research work is very average. Openly discriminates employees, refers them to as cost centers and necessary for business arbitrage - Up to an extent it is acceptable but open discrimination is not. 2)People Policy - No middle management; hires freshers and interns mostly. This lot of individuals are most unlikely to challenge him and his thoughts, rather focus on doing what is being asked. He will never let a competent counterpart to talk with clients - For he might fear getting overshadowed. Ironically if you are a fresher or an intern, then you might bag the opportunity to communicate with clients - This is exactly how he tries to exerts control over employees and the company. Also, if you have more experience, chances are you may get coached by someone having less experience. 3) Integrity and Vision- Does not have a tested and proven vision, everything is a hypothesis. They do not have a product-market fit, surprisingly they have "ZERO" idea as to what can be the logical first step to establish product-market fit. Plans to raise funding and make some quick "Monies" in the process. Hires by giving a completely different picture of the kind of work they can expect. Adopts ill practices to get the job done - as a result quality gets compromised. 4) Quality of work - On an even day you will find yourself paraphrasing what industry leading research firms and publication house are saying. On an odd day you can end up collating random data points from the web, finding the mean, and reporting it as Twimbit analysis. Ad-hog work is mostly limited to elementary content work for marketing teams. Positions as a management consulting firm, the reality lies in content marketing. Well all that being said, no workplace is perfect, since he has years under the hood, it is manageable to work with him with discontent and compromise. However, your only motivation to join Twimbit, if you decide so, has to be - To meet the next guy after the founder - Pun intended (If you did not see that coming). Experience Co-Founder Ashish Passi- There are majorly 3 types of people holding a leadership position at a global company mostly exhibiting the following background - a) IVY league education, proven past experiences b) Average educational background, years of ardent zeal to excel, and proven past experiences c) Average or IVY league education and have stayed and excelled with the company say for decades Then comes this guy, claims and positions himself as a "Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach". Be advised - This guy's leadership playbook is the summation of multiple google searches. 1) Working experience - He has "ZERO" working experience under the hood. He has "ZERO" understanding of research and technology. He loves to deliver a monologue, which often has no agenda and relevancy - BS equivalent to a seasoned ear. He typically is redundant to the organization, except for the fact he is the co-founder and the guardian to the tech team (again comprised of freshers and interns) and occasionally takes care of the logistics required to run a company. 2) Highly deceiving (can be alluded as fraudulent in nature) - Claims and positions himself as "Leadership Consultant and Executive Coach". There are names of multiple F500 companies listed on his public LinkedInn profile, where he has stated that he held engagements across - Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, High Performing Teams, Part of Internal growth missions of organizations. What baffles me - 1) Well coaching for white-collar employees is unheard, that too executive 2) The leadership at F500 companies comes from the best background rather than this guy - Why would they listen to someone with "ZERO" credibility and experience 3) What completely baffles me - The very nature of engagements seems like an MBB consulting assignment. Why would they hire someone with "ZERO" credibility and experience? F500 companies have sufficient budget also - can easily go for MBB or Big 4. This guy has practically never worked in corporate throughout his entire life - and surprisingly has become - Leadership consultant executive coach - 2 different professions at once . These delusional statements are made to stay relevant and position to the larger audience for appeal. 3) Mental Health - Working with him is a big challenge. His unwanted illogical interference will create mental health issues. As he is the co-founder, you will have no choice but to keep the rhythm going. He can be dumb at times too and make a complete fool of himself. Disclaimer - All of the above statements are purely based on opinions.

The work was remote which can be a pro but at times work required to give extra hours of my personal time, although it wasn't forced or advised and was on my volition
