      Work Life balance Lots of learning opportunities Not expected to know everything right away - you’re allowed time to learn Many locations around the state Pension

      Cons

      Lower salary than private (from what I’ve heard) Pension system is not as good as it was before 2009, which is not fair to newer employees Raises do not always happen
