Pros

Remote working Decent salary Good team

Cons

The majority of Tymit’s management team are pet owners, a trait that seems to be favorably viewed within the organization. Additionally, possessing a distinctive accent may contribute to an elevated perception of authority or influence. The majority of management possesses limited to no experience in the field or subject matter relevant to their roles. Promotions are often awarded to individuals who engage in excessive flattery or favoritism, or those who fabricate compelling narratives. Skilled storytellers are likely to receive pay increases or promotions and are taken seriously by leadership. Conversely, employees with substantial knowledge and expertise are frequently overlooked. The HR department operates inefficiently, resembling outdated technology with slow and unresponsive processes.

Pros

Remote working. Social events with a wonderful team of people, with travel and accomodation to London covered. Ambition, friendliness and communication were incredibly strong. A brilliantly engaged and communicative bunch of people. At its peak, I'd never been so excited and enthusiastic to log in for work every day - there was so much happening that I could feel proud to be a part of. Decent benefits like a home office budget, a learning and development budget, subsidised lunches for big meetings etc.

Cons

Big ideas sadly meant scaling too fast, too soon, while being reliant on third-party investment, and there were too many occasions where this resulted in drastic scaling-back and redundancies (mine included, after just shy of two years).
