Type One Energy has a very welcoming atmosphere. The entire team is so supportive and genuinely pushes you to be the best version of yourself. I personally love what I do because I truly believe that I'm making a difference in the world everyday by working for a company that is going to create clean energy to help save our planet. The company values and mission aligns closely to my own, and I truly couldn't ask for a better company to work for.

I genuinely don't think I have any cons for this company. The only thing I have to say is what we do can be difficult as we are trying to be the first to commercialize fusion energy. You have to be willing to move quickly, be innovative, and have creative ideas.

Type One Energy is a new company whose mission is to commercialize fusion power and deliver electricity to the grid. The company has made creating a healthy culture for the employees a priority and acknowledges and is focusing on ensuring the overlooked and impoverished communities will also have access to fusion energy in the future. I really appreciate the effort that is being made in these areas when so many other commercial companies seem to be throwing DEIA out with the bathwater which is disappointing. The hiring team was welcoming and the compensation offered was very competitive, All of this, in addition to a hybrid work policy and the exciting work of inventing a new energy sector, makes Type One Energy a great place to work.

The benefits package for the company may be changing soon as they are always working to improve, but at this time sick leave is taken out of PTO and PTO doesn't increase annually, it remains the same until after 10 years of service.
