Pros
Basically, no overtime is expected. It is also very easy to take a paid holiday. In addition to paid holiday, 7days of sick leave is provided every year.
Cons
There is no clear personal evaluation system. Basically, no salary increase is expected. Most Japanese engineers work with almost same salary as they joined the company for a long time, it is not a good place for young engineers who still has to sign for the contract with lower salary.
