      Pros

      UCLA is definitely one of the main reasons I wanted to gain this experience. Everything was well-organized. he managers were supportive, and my colleagues were great to work with.

      You really have to consider the compensation carefully, since living in a busy city can cost a lot in terms of money, time, and energy. Make sure you’re truly willing to invest in that trade-off.

      Good hours, flexible to student time schedule, allowed me to do homework on the job

      Cons

      Sometimes, other students don't take your full shift and leave like 30 mins of your shift if you give it up

      Great health insurance - I'm told it's really quite fire (no lie) Great location - love Westwood (sandwiched by Brentwood, Bel Air, and Beverly Hills) Union is tremendously supportive

      Campus dining options are kinda weak - breaks my heart to eat the same thing every day
