I would not normally post a review on sites such as this but after reading the review that was posted on July 7th I felt I needed to comment. UFA has hired all new IT leadership over the last couple years and has totally transformed the department. The culture in IT is very positive and employees work very well together. IT leadership is not only approachable but very strong technically. Working in IT at UFA over the last 2 years has been very busy with the deployment of a new POS and many other new systems. If you like to work on fast paced initiatives, then IT at UFA is the perfect place. Lots of exciting and innovative projects in-flight. The company has a wonderful culture, people are very friendly and easy to work with. UFA is very focused on customer service which is a great thing too see as many organizations don’t focus enough on understanding and helping their customers. I have no complaints about working at UFA, my manager is supportive, and I am compensated fairly. UFA also has an awesome flex day program which allows me to spend quality time with my family, so the work life balance is good. Don’t be scared by negative reviews by people who obviously have an axe to grind, UFA is a great place to work.
Cons
The health benefits are great but the company that administers them is slow to process claims.
