Pros

I have made some great friends, but that is about all.

Cons

Not quite sure where to start. I have asked for help on numerous occasions only to receive none. The client dictates everything that goes on and will escalate the smallest issue to the top of the food chain instead of just coming to me creating a problematic work environment. Upper management will then freak out send emails and will call and aren’t very nice. Was not told this is what I would be dealing with when I interviewed and was hired. I enjoyed it up until this past month. No matter what I do it’s not enough. I feel like the writing is on the wall, but I get no direction on what to do. Of course the puppet master client seems to pull all the strings, so if they want me gone I probably won’t get a chance to right any wrong. Which leads back to lack of direction, no communication and no help. When I have asked for help, I get told call so and so(and hope they answer or even return the call)or asked why don’t you know how to do it. The problem is, no one showed me how to do it from the get go. How do you expect to be successful if you don’t properly train people? I feel like I was thrown to the wolves with absolutely no chance to fend for myself. I was set up for failure from the start.

Pros

Collaborative leadership team that values transparency and employee development. The company supports innovation and provides meaningful opportunities to make a strategic impact. HR is positioned as a true partner to the business.

Cons

Like many fast-paced environments, prioritization can be a challenge at times. Rapid growth sometimes outpaces systems, requiring adaptability and patience.

Pros

Good coworkers. Decent health benefits.

Cons

The client you are contracted for is more important than you are as their employee. If their client states that they do not like you they will find a way to get rid of you even if it is wrongful termination (which mine was). You are working for a contract company, therefore the client company hires you with the intention of you being disposable at all times. The company allows that to continue just so they can keep their client.
