They are cutting bonuses for lower level employees, but not manager or above!!
They do NOT pay market rate for positions at all, they are at the lower end of the averages. Which is why they are not getting top talent.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback about how we can improve our employee experience. Our current performance management system is based on quarterly check-ins, which are meant to drive continuous and meaningful conversations and feedback. We continually evaluate our compensation for all roles.
UL solution was my first office job and engineering experience. It did not disappoint, and got me excited for my future, The HR and hiring team were all so nice and helpful throughout my internship. My managers were helpful, patient, and understanding when I had a family emergency near the end of my internship that forced me to leave the country temporary. The internship showed the various departments in the company, not just the one we had applied for. Would definitely recommend anyone to apply for them.
Cons
UL solutions is focused in certifications and safety, so if you are expecting projects involving development and design this is not the place, We had to do a breakdown on products and perform tests to ensure it meets standards of safety.
