Pros
USI has the best onboarding and sales training systems I've seen in my insurance career. It's a high energy level company with a focus on new organic growth which can feel overwhelming until you integrate into their system and utilize their tools for success including their ONE Advantage approach with their truly unique OMNI software engine and local team huddles and national expert involvement. I've been with other firms that say they do these things. USI is the only one that walks the walk in my experience. The leadership in the SLC office is unrivaled. Across the country our office currently leads the company in a 5 diamond internal rating and is second in growth for 2019. I've never been part of a more highly functioning professional team from the support staff to the management. From a Regional and National leadership standpoint my message is the same. Top down, fantastic leadership. It's the best move I've ever made.
Cons
The accounting department is lackluster to put it mildly. Good news is corporate knows this and is working hard to improve it. Some specialty programs could use some spit and polish before they're allowed to roll out the door. Communication is always a challenge in this size of an organization so disseminating information from corporate could be more efficient.
