- Software engineering department is very relaxed, flexible hours, work from home, etc. - Lots of freedom to take initiative building applications without being micromanaged - Small development team means you can be responsible for an entire application from start to finish

- Depending on what department you are in, the culture can be really great, or not so much. Not everyone likes their job. - If you need to be told what to do and can't figure things out on your own, Software Engineering here isn't for you.
