Pros
- Fun, fast paced - Trust: your managers fully trust your abilities and place in you in situations to learn and learn quickly - Career growth: there are alot of opportunities for quick advancement - Smart people - Hybrid working flexibility: company let a number of folks work remote full or part time regularly, so covid didn't initiate that element of the already existing culture
Cons
- Terrible pay - pay raise with each promotion is an actual joke - Learning and development - you learn alot on the fly, but personally didnt feel like we all were the social experts we were billed to be. There was not a major internal emphasis on constant learning and growth across all teams. -While you learn quickly by being "thrown into the fire", not all folks are ready and this leads to deteriorating client relationships and mistakes. - Retainment - barely saw folks leave in my first year, then people started leaving quite quickly following that. The company rarely addressed the reasons why people left. - Company direction - completely unclear the whole time I was there. I found it difficult to answer the question "What does Unified do?"
