Pros
Honestly, nothing. I joined UnifyApps with the genuine ambition to learn, grow, and work on something meaningful. I even left a stable role to take this opportunity. Instead of growth, I ended up missing company-held training sessions because of unrealistic expectations and was subjected to extremely unprofessional behaviour, including being contacted and abused at 2 AM. This is not an environment I could appreciate or recommend.
Cons
1. Extremely Poor Work–Life Balance While the salary and hikes may seem appealing on paper, the per-hour workload makes the overall compensation far worse than most companies. In reality, a 50% hike comes at the cost of working 2.5×–3× more than you would elsewhere. 2. Toxic Culture and Unprofessional Behaviour There is a clear pattern of: Late-night work expectations Verbal abuse Disrespectful communication Constant pressure with no regard for personal boundaries I reached a point where being unemployed felt healthier than spending another minute in that environment. 3. High Attrition & Low Morale It became evident that: Nobody is genuinely happy here Most people are simply trying to make as much money as possible in the short term Many are actively planning to leave as soon as they can The culture pushes employees to burnout and resignation. 4. Misaligned Expectations I joined in the hope of learning and contributing meaningfully. In reality: There was minimal guidance Training sessions were missed because of chaotic planning Internal processes lacked structure and consistency No healthy environment for skill development 5. Not Worth the Psychological Cost For me, the situation deteriorated so much that the stress and treatment overshadowed the benefits entirely. No salary is worth constant anxiety, disrespect, and a hostile work environment. Should You Join UnifyApps? If you're considering it, I strongly recommend re-evaluating your decision. The short-term financial upside is overshadowed by the long-term cost to: Your mental health Your work-life balance Your professional growth There are far better, healthier workplaces that will value your time, boundaries, and career development.
