Pros

A strong team environment is in place, with positive working relationships between drivers, the traffic office, and warehouse teams. There is good exposure to modern fleet operations, including alternative fuels and evolving logistics practices, which adds valuable industry experience. Support from colleagues and management is readily available when needed, particularly in resolving day-to-day operational challenges.

Cons

Like many transport operations, the role can at times be high-pressure due to the distances covered each shift. IT issues can occur, although this is something most companies experience from time to time. Holiday entitlement starts at 20 days plus bank holidays, with an additional day awarded every 2.5 years of service, up to a maximum of 25 days.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your positive comments about our team environment and modern fleet. It is encouraging to hear that you have found strong support from colleagues and management, as well as valuable exposure to evolving logistics practices and alternative fuel operations. We also appreciate your constructive feedback. We recognise that transport operations can be demanding, and we are continuously working to improve planning, systems reliability, and overall working conditions to better support our teams. Your point around communication is particularly important, and we remain committed to strengthening collaboration across departments and shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Thank you again for your contribution and for being part of the Uniserve team.

Pros

As a whole, Uniserve is a great company to work for. Coming straight from University, the company has supported me along my learning curve to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills needed to be able to assist and lead projects. They have pushed me to my limits, unlocking skills that I myself thought I could never do. There isn't a moment in my day where I have nothing to do. There is always something for me to contribute to and always something new to learn from my Team.

Cons

The only small downside I would say is that on rare occasions the office does get too loud. Good thing is, it's not everyday.

Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful review. It’s great to hear that joining us straight from university has been a positive experience and that you’ve felt supported while developing your skills. We’re really pleased you’ve been able to get involved in projects, challenge yourself, and continue learning from your team—creating those opportunities is something we’re passionate about. It’s also brilliant to hear how much you’re contributing day to day. We appreciate your feedback about the office environment too. While it’s good to hear it’s only occasional, it’s something we’ll keep in mind as we continue to improve our workplaces. Thanks again, and we’re excited to see how you continue to grow with us.
