Pros

Great opportunities for advancement. You get to feel like you're helping people. Routes aren't too hard. Career staff are attentive and generally accessible. Most riders are UC Davis students, who can be abrasive, but generally don't cause problems. No break or summer obligation. Short shifts of 1-2 hours, high flexibility, lots of food options near terminals.

Cons

Pay could be better - but it's still good for a student job. Social environment is difficult, STAY AWAY from company gossip. Big weekend obligation - 3 mandatory meetings and 4 online shift bidding sessions per quarter. High turnover due to student nature of job. Occasionally, disruptive passengers ride the service. Training takes a long time but doesn't always feel adequate. Experience depends on who is supervising or training that day. Conductors are rude and hard to work with!
