Cons
Management has no experience. People are promoted into leadership roles with no leadership experience. The salary is not on par with what other carriers offer and neither is the bonus structure. Remote work is unheard of unless you live at least an hour away. There is zero flexibility with that. There is horrible turnover in the underwriting department. The systems are archaic. The pto time they offer is not comparable to other carriers either. The work life balance is horrible. They will try to sell you on hos great it is, but teust me... with in a year you will learn your lesson. Please do yourself a favor and do not work here. Management not help you develop unless you are in the inside circle. Go to The Hartford, Travels. AIG, Chubb. All these carriers are much more progessive than Utica National.
