Pros
Call center was run fairly well. Friendly working environment. Free coffee. Good as far as a call center goes.
Cons
Very little opportunity for advancement. Upper management is British nationals, so unless you happen to be British or with the company for 10 years, chances for promotion are slim. Extremely top-down chain of command. Upper management are great and intelligent people, but are not willing to delegate responsibility. As a result, middle management is nothing more than yes-men. Nearly all basic decisions are bottlenecked and have to be escalated and trickled down to the top level before anything can be done. This creates a lot of unnecessary waiting around followed by panicked rush to meet imaginary deadlines.
