Pros
The staff is amazing. The customers, for the most part, are amazing. It's really an invaluable experience to be able to introduce people to VR for the first time. Customers are hardly rude, because they seem somewhat intimidated by the tech. This makes the instructor job easier/more fulfilling because they rely fully on your guidance.
Cons
The hours were bad. Longest day I worked was from 9:45am to 11:15pm, with a 1hr15 break. Sometimes during a normal shift (which was only an hour less), I wouldn't go on break until 7pm. This meant working for 9hrs without food, since eating on the floor was strictly prohibited. The management was a little wonky, but the managers were working the best with what they had. Owners will do whatever it takes to increase revenue, even at the expense of their workers' happiness.
