Pros

Interesting idea for an app, exciting potential opportunities.

Cons

I was hired to work remotely for this company as a video producer to film events and attend international shoots, and upkeep a profile on their app, Vresh. What started out as a legit job, ( I visited their offices, was paid once) slowly unraveled as we were sent on shoots with virtually no information, instruction on duties were slow to come, and we were instructed to pay for equipment and entrance to events with *OUR OWN MONEY*, and then the payments stopped. Of course we were told it was just a delay, we'd get paid next week. False promise after false promise on payment and by the time I stopped working I'd foolishly done two months of work without pay and spent hundred of dollars of my own money on shoots. Their Warsaw offices shut down without paying their employees wages or severance, and I get radio silence from their LA offices about paying me wages or the expenses. So here I am, trying to talk to lawyers and the CA dept of labor, just hoping by posting here no one else will get scammed like I was in their future pursuits. I hear they're trying to start another app or something.

Pros

- Most of the people who work here are nice and will share your, "wtf is going on" glances. - You will have Rolland Emerich's name attached to your resume which can carry some weight to certain people. - There is room to make the job whatever you want, but it is because there is little vision at the company. You can take on responsibilities or offer ideas and run with them to make the position into something that interests you. - Good health care, but I've heard it has gotten worse since I left according to old co-workers.

Cons

- No Job Security -- people get fired seemingly randomly, even at times good/hard workers are let go or edged out. At times the process is very unprofessional and seldom announced to staff. One day someone is just gone with no explanation. - If you're the first person to interview in person chances are you'll get the job... this is part of the reason for high turn around. - Extremely low pay, way below industry standards. If you do take a job here, fight for what you think you're worth. You may be intimidated but stand your ground, the CEO loves to barter so you might think it's non-negotiable, but everything with him seems to be negotiable. - The company (at least in the US) is a lot of glitz but not a lot of substance, the app is really cool but the people in America have almost nothing to do with the tech. This is more of an in-house marketing company than a tech company. - Leadership is out of touch and unwilling, or more, uninterested in learning about what is actually going on in tech and in pop culture/social media trends. - The main office is open so there is nowhere to escape on a bad day and no bathroom privacy AT ALL. It's right in the office and you can hear everything... I noticed that the other reviews here were all written within a few days of each other and all basically say the same thing... just saying.
