      Pros

      Good people good learning experience will learn alot more than working for a municipality. Responsibility comes really quick so good place if you like fast paced environment

      Cons

      Poor pay, no communication amongst management, no room to move up much and you do do above and beyond your title

      Pros

      Knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help guide and explain concepts. Company respects your time. Long hours are not expected, Unless a deadline is due (maybe 1-2 days a months). Wide range of projects and exposure to tons of different aspects of municipal / land development engineering.

      Cons

      Smaller company so benefits are not as great. Vacation time is below industry standard. Not the greatest company culture if you are looking for social events and extracurriculars.

      Small company, might need to do more, which is a not necessarily a con.
