Pros
Flexible working was nice and some of the staff were very friendly.
Cons
Training was embarrassing. Little to no support for the majority of my time there. Unreasonable expectations. I found myself working outside of work hours, sometimes until 1/2am just to keep on top of the work load- which was obviously unpaid. Certain managers being rude, unfair and very biased. One particular manager single-handedly gave me chronic anxiety. One instance of this was when I followed the workings of a previously submitted work batch to complete a new assignment. The managers job is to check and approve these batches, to ensure there are no mistakes. As this had been previously submitted and checked by said manager, I assumed there were no mistakes. Unfortunately there were numerous mistakes present and I got the blame for not checking over that my manager had done their job correctly??? Eventually after being over worked and given no support, my mental health suffered far too much so I quit. The most amusing part to me is that I wasn’t given any recognition when leaving or even a good bye message. Funny enough the particular manager I mentioned earlier did this for every other member of staff who left the department whilst I worked there, apart from me.
