Pros

Seriously I didn’t find any Pros even after spending 2years.. thank god I got other opportunity..

Cons

As I said this should be your last option to consider.. Noting is really stable here.. this company is heavily dominated by so called CSDs and few big accounts.. both are in the company from last one decade.. Account is good but Directors are getting old and don't know anything outside ValueMomentum.. they made their own sweet home here and they believe they are the King.. they don't know how to talk, behave and act on the situations... If you are joining ERIE account then you are gone.. I joined as a Sr. Manager here but never got treated like a manager.. they will treat you like lead or first time manager and it’s all micro management.. in my 10+ years of industry experience I never saw a company were HR and even Board members are just puppies and only and only look for account growth irrespective of how an employees are getting treated.. even if you escalate in any level you won’t see any change in culture or management style.. this is shocking and need immediate action..! So big cultural issues, even all DMs in all accounts doesn’t know how to talk and manage projects, but still they are doing good as management is happy with low performing manager as they need only those folks to save their place.. but this ultimately cost to customer and employees.. I will never-ever suggest even freshers to join here as they will saw your high dream and you would end up doing testing or maintenance work.. better choose other option even if that demands relocation or low salary..

Pros

1. Large network of big and small insurance clients and firms. 2. They are a specialized group of insurance experts, so you will get good exposure to a very profitable market. 3. All the leaders and CSDs I worked with wanted me to succeed, and gave me good career advice. They rounded my career and portfolio well. 4. When the market was good and stable for software services, they kept a lot engineers without a project on bench for long times and paid them full salary and benefits. It was a work hard, play hard type culture which was a big reason why I wanted to be here for the long term.

Cons

1. Communication of internal changes! This company will make quick decisions behind your back and not notify you until last minute putting you in very awkward and suddenly stressful situations out of nowhere. 2. Very small severance package. Most companies give their long standing and well performing employees higher severance, but my friend’s startup gave him the same amount of severance I had received and he worked there for only 6 months. 3. ValueMomentum values their clients and their directors who provide them with business, NOT their employees who actually do the work. 9 years of service and zero bonus. Low salary too. I never felt valued at this company and this company made me feel like a pawn on a chess board. Just discardable. 4. No company wide events, no socials, no company merch or things company does to make employees feel valued, just on time salary. 5. Their PTO system is very off. Every year, I had to do the job for them of tracking my PTO as they would lose a few submitted timesheets. It was slowly getting better though with their new viki systems. 6. The windows company laptop they give you is cheap. I’ve had one client ask me if it was a personal laptop. 7. Yearly salary increases are only 2-4%. They don’t factor inflation.
